just5 Privacy Policy

Summary

just5 is an offline-first devotion app. It does not collect, store, upload, sell, or share any personal data. There is no account system, no analytics, no advertising, and no third-party services.

Information we do NOT collect

just5 does not require an account, an email address, or any registration.

• No personal information is collected.
• No location data is collected.
• No device identifiers are transmitted.
• No usage analytics or crash reporting is sent to us or anyone else.
• No advertising or advertising identifiers are used.
• No purchase information is transmitted; payment data is handled entirely by Apple / Google, never by us.

Narration voice downloads

just5 works fully offline with no connection at all. If you choose to hear each devotion narrated, the app downloads a short, optional voice clip for that day from just5app.com and stores it on your device. Voice clips are cached on your device so they play offline forever after the first download. If you are offline or a clip is not available, the app reads the devotion aloud with your device's built-in system voice. Clips are served for free narrators and for eligible just5 Premium narrators; the app only requests clips you have access to. The download requests contain no personal information.

Information stored on your device

Everything you enter in just5 remains only on your device and is stored in the app's local storage:

• Your name (used only to greet you)
• Your profile photo (optional; stored locally)
• Your streak and completion history
• Your prayer journal entries
• Your app settings (reminders, alarm sound, ambient music choices)

If you delete the app, this data is deleted with it. We cannot recover it.

Photos access

If you choose to set a profile photo, the app asks permission to read your photo library. This happens only when you pick a photo, and the image is stored on your device. It is never uploaded.

Notifications

If you enable reminders or the morning alarm, the app schedules local notifications on your device. No notification data leaves your device.

Children's privacy

just5 does not intentionally collect any information from anyone, including children.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, the effective date at the top will be updated.
